Receive payments for your tickets directly into your bank account, without any intermediary. This way you have the cash at your disposal as soon as the tickets have been paid. Chances are you will substantially reduce costs at the same time.
Many ticketing solutions come with a fixed payment processing option. Although this may seem practical, there are some serious issues involved. Costs will typically be substantially higher, as these suppliers can take a hefty margin on the payment processing. You will also have to wait longer to receive your ticketing revenue when a supplier acts as an intermediate. And if the intermediate runs into trouble, you might be left in the dark completely about whether or when you will receive your ticketing profits.
However, payment processing should be reliable and fast, and you should have access to your money as soon as possible. Ticketmatic has therefore implemented a deep integration with multiple third-party PSPs (payment service providers), specialized in secure payment handling. This allows you to make a direct agreement with the PSP you prefer.
Ticketmatic currently supports payment gateways Mollie and Stripe. Your geographical location determines which providers are available to you. Each provider has its own advantages. It is up to you to select one that best suits your needs. Once you set up your PSP account, you can easily link it to Ticketmatic and there activate the payment methods you want to offer in your ticket shop.
The deep integration also supports refunds to be handled directly from within Ticketmatic, which can save you an enormous amount of work in the case of event cancellations. There’s no need to log into your PSP account, Ticketmatic forwards your restitution requests automatically to the PSP to execute the reimbursement from their account.
Detailed financial reporting ensures a complete follow-up of all payments.
