Furthermore, implementing a proper privacy policy entails several requirements regarding ticketing and marketing.
Ticketmatic attaches great importance to privacy and security and takes measures at every level to meet the highest standards, focused on proactively embedding privacy into the design and operation of our systems and networked infrastructure. Ticketmatic applies this “Privacy by Design” principle throughout all its developments. For example, by utilizing a separate database for every Ticketmatic client.
Following the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, also known as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), Ticketmatic only acts as a "processor". When working with Ticketmatic, you are the sole owner of all ticketing and marketing data.
Ticketmatic selects suppliers carefully to ensure data is treated properly at all times. For hosting, Ticketmatic relies on AWS (Amazon Web Services), a reliable party with 500+ features and services focused on security and compliance (see AWS policies on GDPR).
Internal policies ensure that Ticketmatic staff respects privacy rules and that data can only be accessed by those who need access in the context of their function.
